Aries-1V Solid Core Wood Interior Door

This door is fabricated in 1 1/2″ Soli core wood Laminated in Mica from egger.com colors which require no further treatment of the slab. We use only the finest materials and construction techniques available on the market, which makes our products quality and appearance absolutely superb.

Door “Slab” Orders
Slab door is just a rectangular slab of wood. No frame, casing or hardware are included (unless otherwise noted) and the door is NOT prepped for hinges or a handle.

Pre-Hanging Orders
This is a knocked down pre-hung door option that is easy to assemble and to install. Door slabs and Jambs are precisely pre-machined to match each other at the assemblage points. Jambs and Casings are carefully packed and shipped together with door slabs. Every piece is labeled to make assembly and installation quick and easy at the job site.

Pre-hanging preparation consists of the following:

Door Jamb and Casing
The frame is made of 1 1/2″ solid natural wood with a step made of the same solid wood due to the modern style of this door to facilitate installation. The thickness of the door frame is 1 7/8“. You can change the exterior appearance in the options using L-Casing molding in widths of 1 7/8”, 3“, 4”, and wider. The moldings are applied around the door frame and have the same finish as the door.

Handle Preparation
A pre-hung unit will have pre-drilled door for a handle with 2 3/8” backset.
Bore diameter will be 2 1/8”.
Backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the bore hole.

Concealed hinges

6″ Color: Black or Polished Chrome (Adjustable screws for easy installation and to compensate for any unevenness in the wall or floor)

Hinges with plain bearings:

Base material entirely made of steel. Plain bearings. Fully recessed. Polished chrome finish. Size: 3.5“ x 3.5” square hinge.

The door should be installed after the new floor has been completely installed and finished. We prefer that the walls also be painted.
